No Refund Policy
All HoodServe subscription payments are final and non-refundable. This applies to:
- Monthly subscription charges
- Annual subscription charges
- Any partial month or partial year of service
- Accounts that were not actively used during a billing period
- Accounts cancelled partway through a billing cycle
We are transparent about this policy upfront because we believe the right time to evaluate HoodServe is before you pay — which is exactly why we offer a free trial.
Why We Don't Offer Refunds — And Why You Don't Need One
Most subscription services offer a 7-day trial then charge you and hope you forget. We do the opposite:

During your free trial you have full access to the Platform — all features, no restrictions. You can set up your business, invite your team, run real bookings, and decide whether HoodServe is right for you. No credit card is required to start. We only ask for payment when you decide to continue.
By the time you subscribe, you will have already used the product extensively. This is why we stand by a no-refund policy — you are never paying blind.
How Cancellation Works
You may cancel your subscription at any time, for any reason, directly from your account dashboard. There are no cancellation fees and no penalty.
- When you cancel: your subscription is marked for non-renewal at the end of your current billing period.
- Access after cancellation: you retain full access to the Platform until the last day of your paid billing period. You are not cut off immediately.
- No partial refunds: the unused portion of your billing period is not refunded, but you continue to have full access through the end of the period you paid for.
- Annual plans: if you are on an annual plan and cancel, your access runs through the end of the 12-month period you paid for. The remaining months are not refunded.
- Reactivation: you can reactivate your subscription at any time. Your data is retained for 90 days after cancellation.
Exceptions We May Consider
While our policy is no refunds, we are a small team and we are reasonable. We may consider a refund or account credit at our sole discretion in the following extraordinary circumstances:
- You were charged due to a verified technical error on our part (e.g., double-charged, charged after a confirmed cancellation).
- You experienced a documented platform outage that prevented all access for a significant portion of your billing period.
To request consideration of an exception, contact us within 7 days of the charge in question at support@hoodserve.com with your account email and a description of the issue. We will review it and respond within 5 business days. Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund.
Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us violates these Terms and will result in immediate suspension of your account. If a chargeback is filed and we determine it is not warranted under this policy, we will contest it and provide this policy as documentation to your card issuer.
