What Is an Estimate?
An estimate (also called a quote) is a price proposal your service provider sends before any work begins. It details what services will be performed and what they will cost. You review and approve it β once approved, it can convert into a booking or contract.
Where to Find Your Estimates
Go to Estimates in your portal. You'll see all estimates your provider has sent you, with their current status.
Estimate Statuses
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| π Draft | Provider is still preparing it |
| π¨ Sent | Awaiting your review and approval |
| β Approved | You accepted it β work can begin |
| β Declined | You declined the quote |
| π Converted | Converted to an invoice or contract |
Reviewing an Estimate
- Click on a Sent estimate to open it.
- Read through the line items β services, quantities, unit prices, and totals.
- If everything looks right, click Approve.
- If you have questions, contact your provider before approving.
- If you don't want to proceed, click Decline.
What Happens After Approval?
Once you approve an estimate:
- Your provider is notified automatically
- They will schedule the work and create a booking
- A contract may be generated for you to sign (if your provider uses contracts)
- An invoice will be sent after the work is completed
π‘ Approving an estimate does not charge you anything. Payment happens via invoice after the work is done.
