Where Do Leads Come From?

When someone fills out the booking form or estimate request form on your public website, HoodServe captures it as a Lead. You get notified immediately (bell notification + email) so you can follow up fast.

Viewing Your Leads

Go to Leads in the sidebar. Each lead shows:

  • Name, email, and phone
  • Service they're interested in
  • Preferred date (if they submitted one)
  • Form type (booking request vs estimate request)
  • Their message / notes
  • Status: New, Contacted, Converted, or Lost

Lead Statuses

StatusWhen to Use It
πŸ†• NewJust came in, not yet reviewed
πŸ“ž ContactedYou've reached out and are in conversation
βœ… ConvertedBecame a client
❌ LostDidn't convert β€” wrong fit, no response, etc.

Converting a Lead

  1. Open the lead.
  2. Click Convert to Client.
  3. HoodServe creates their client profile automatically.
  4. If the lead came from an estimate form, a draft estimate is generated for you to review and send.
  5. If the lead came from a booking form, you're taken to the create booking screen with their info pre-filled.

Speed Matters

Studies show that leads contacted within 5 minutes are 21Γ— more likely to convert than those contacted after 30 minutes. HoodServe notifies you instantly β€” follow up while interest is hot.

πŸ“Œ Keep your lead pipeline clean. Mark converted or lost leads promptly so your "New" count only shows leads that genuinely need attention.
