When to Use Locations

Use the Locations feature if you:

  • Operate from multiple physical offices or branches
  • Have employees assigned to specific service areas
  • Want to show multiple location cards on your public website
  • Run a mobile/on-site business with multiple service zones

Adding a Location

  1. Go to Locations in the sidebar (under the Admin section).
  2. Click New Location.
  3. Enter the location name, address, phone, email, and business hours.
  4. Mark it as Primary if it's your main location.
  5. Enable Mobile / On-Site if this location has no fixed address.
  6. Click Save.

Assigning Employees to Locations

When editing an employee, select their assigned location. Employees without a location assignment will appear in all booking dropdowns (cross-location). Use this for floaters or on-call staff.

Bookings & Locations

When creating a booking, select the location. The employee dropdown automatically filters to show only employees at that location (plus unassigned employees). This prevents accidental scheduling errors.

Your Public Website With Multiple Locations

When you have 2+ active locations, HoodServe automatically adds a "Our Locations" section to your public website with a card for each location, including address, hours, and an embedded Google Maps link.

The booking form on your website also shows a location picker so visitors can choose their nearest branch.

Services & Locations

By default, all services are available at all locations. To restrict a service to a specific location, edit the service and set its Location field. Set it to null/blank to make it available everywhere.

πŸ—ΊοΈ Even if you only have one location now, set it up correctly from the start. Adding the address improves your Google Maps visibility and shows on your website automatically.
