What is the Employee Portal?

The Employee Portal is your personal dashboard inside HoodServe. It gives you everything you need to do your job: your schedule, bookings, responsibilities, referral program, and payroll info — all in one place, from any device.

How to Log In

  1. Open your browser and go to your company's HoodServe login page (your manager will share the exact URL).
  2. Enter the email address your employer used to create your account.
  3. Enter your temporary password (sent to your email when your account was created). You can change it after your first login.
  4. Click Log In. You'll land on the Employee Dashboard.
💡 Tip: If you forgot your password, contact your manager — they can reset it from the admin panel.

What You'll See After Logging In

  • Today's Schedule — upcoming bookings assigned to you
  • Tip Summary — tips earned this month (if your company tracks tips)
  • Responsibilities — recurring tasks due today or overdue
  • Referral Banner — your personal referral link and bonus info
  • Quick Links — shortcuts to the areas you use most

Installing the App on Your Phone

HoodServe works as a full mobile app — no App Store needed. When you visit the employee portal on your phone, you'll see a banner at the bottom saying "Add to Home Screen". Tap it, and HoodServe installs like a native app. It works offline for viewing your schedule too.

Navigation

Use the sidebar (desktop) or the hamburger menu (mobile) to navigate between sections:

  • Dashboard — your home screen
  • Schedule — full calendar view of your bookings
  • Responsibilities — your recurring task list
  • Referrals — your referral link, leaderboard, bonuses
  • Timesheets — clock-in/out records
